About Christopher Gersten

Christopher Gersten is a strong leadership personality with profound and comprehensive management capabilities. He served as managing director and member of the executive board in Germany for a market leading entertainment company. Under his tenure the company underwent multiple business stages, including development and consolidation phases, periods of crisis, as well as turn-arounds followed by subsequent growth. He played a pivotal role and was a driving force in managing the business's digital transformation, including the conception and implementation of various new business models and activities, as well as strategically readapting the marketing process to an environment of constantly changing consumer behaviors in terms of media usage and consumption. He was heavily involved in the realignment and implementation of new processes and organizational structures, while operationally managing Universal Music Germany's largest business unit in terms of turnover and profit in times of increasing complexity and a highly competitive market environment. At the end of 2017 he decided to pursue his own entrepreneurial activities and joined the investment boutique DIVEdigital as managing partner, with a focus on investing in Israeli high-tech, Industry 4.0 Start-Ups and establishing their business in the German market.
