About Christopher Gillund

I'm a visual communications designer and photographer with people management skills currently living in Indianapolis. I love variety and exploration which is furthered by opportunities afforded me by family, friends and employment. I am inspired by the creativity and patterns of nature and humanity. I am fortunate enough to have spent the last five years employed with a company that allows me to work in the world of sports. This challenge has given me a front row experience with some of the best athletes and premiere organizations on the planet, and allowed me to interact with them in a personal way. During my professional career I have acquired a robust set of skills, and central to these is the concept of serving others. I enjoy creating things that inspire myself and others. I therefore attained my VCD degree from Purdue to share my visions in effective ways. Sports teams uniforms and graphics on race cars captivated my attention ever since I can remember and inspired many of my first drawings. I am proud that I have come full circle and professionally designed pieces for those same organizations that inspired me so long ago. I earned a history minor because I love to explore and attempt to understand human behaviors. Anthropology and the influence of philosophies, cultures and history is interesting to me and helps me better understand current events and prepare for a brighter future. I work towards improving lives and the planet with the ultimate goal of positive impact. I care about the environments I'm surrounded by; natural and man made. I always start with improving myself. I try to be the change I want to see, as personal accountability is something I value. Feel free to visit https://gillunddesigns.wordpress.com/ & http://gillund.deviantart.com/gallery/
