About Christopher Ginter

I am a 2024 civil engineering graduate of Clarkson University. My studies focused on water resources engineering with a minor in environmental engineering. I have worked jobs spanning food service, retail, marketing, and engineering. During my time at Clarkson University, I worked for the school as a tour guide and grader, studied abroad in Sweden, assisted the international office with the incoming exchange students and interned with JMT as a water resources engineering intern. I also was a member of various clubs, including the Outing Club, Timber Bridge and NYWEA. My education, extra-curricular activities and jobs have provided me with various skills. I am able to use various software such as Microsoft office, ArcGIS, Matlab, OpenRoads Designer, Hy-8, HydroCAD and Google Earth. I also am a strong leader with excellent communication skills due to leading numerous group projects and working as a tour guide. I have a strong attention to detail and social awareness due to being around people from all over the world. Furthermore, I have become a quick learner due to working in multiple fields.Over the past few years, I became a well-rounded individual due to my studies and life events. I am now an adventurous person who seeks to gain the most from life via travel and making connections. I am dedicated to my work as well as my friends, family and peers, performing with the knowledge that my actions do impact those in my circle and beyond. Along with my professional work, I have been learning photography for over a year. I also am passionate about music, astronomy, nature, food, biking, skating and learning. I enjoy being outside and always keeping busy even when not working. These activities, along with my work and education, have provided me with a wide array of skills that apply to my professional and private life.
