About Christopher Glock

After high school, I joined the Marine Corps, empowered with a strong work ethic and a dedication that was infused in me since I was a child, where I became an intelligence analyst. My time with the Marines, no matter how successful, was unfortunately cut short when a lower back injury was deemed as untreatable. Although my command created a civilian position and hired me on as a contractor, to train their Marines to do what I could do, teaching just wasn’t the same. Afraid to leave the beaches of Hawaii, I began looking for any way I could to sustain myself out there and I stumbled into a small family run restaurant that ended up changing it all. Fueled with my past experiences and all that I had accomplished, I began a job that quickly turned into a career. The restaurant industry allowed me to use the analytical skills I had honed over the years, in a way I had never imagined; by doing so I was able to create a guest experience that exceeded most expectations. After nearly a decade of successfully operating restaurants, in both Hawaii and Las Vegas, I moved back to Colorado to be closer to my family. And although there is a restaurant industry most anywhere, it’s just not the same. Because of this I realize that my time in the restaurant business has come and gone, I also realize that I don’t want to devote myself to just anything, it must be something that I love and enjoy as much as I have the past ten years.
