About Christopher Goth

Mr. Goth assumed the duties of Deputy Comptroller at Supervisor of Shipbuilding (SUPSHIP), Conversion and Repair Bath, Maine, in May 2014. He is responsible for overseeing the budget execution of all design and construction contracts in the SSBA portfolio including the Navy’s Arleigh Burke & Zumwalt Class Destroyers in Bath, Maine, the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) in Marinette, Wisconsin, and the Mobile Landing Platform (MLP) in San Diego, California and PSA’s for LCS, DDG51 and DDG Class ships. In addition to the new construction and PSA efforts he also manages all funding for both LCS and DDG-51 class planning yard and lead yard services, Pre-Commissioning Unit, ship outfitting and performs budget planning, formulation, and execution for all reimbursable and command expense operating budgets. From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Goth served as Quality Assurance Specialist assigned to the Electronics Division overseeing the installation of shipboard navigation systems onboard the DDG 51 and DDG class ships. He is Level 2 Certified Acquisition in Production, Quality, and Manufacturing and certified in NAVSEA Basic Paint Inspector and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Mr. Goth worked for Lockheed Martin Corporation as part of the Aegis Test Team in Bath, Me from 2008 to 2011. In this position, he served as the ASW system engineer working with Bath Iron Works for the installation of electronic systems, operational testing, troubleshooting, and presenting system capabilities to INSURV during ship trials. He served in the U.S Navy from 2003 to 2008 as an Avionics Technician on the P-3 Orion at the Intermediate Maintenance Level detachments. Mr. Goth was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Mr. Goth graduated from Southern New Hampshire University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership. He is also Lead Auditor certified for ISO9001
