About Christopher Greazel

I’ve been involved professionally in the industrial design and vehicle manufacturing fields for over two decades. My primary areas of expertise are vehicle design and styling, illustration including for aerospace industry subcontractors, graphic design, model construction, and advanced automotive and aerospace vehicle concept design for sci-fi entertainment media. This work includes directing creative teams in design studios and prototyping facilities settings. Other responsibilities have been coordinating various aspects of a project, managing multiple accounts, plus interacting with all production departments, resulting in successful realization of design intent and end-user customer satisfaction throughout production, while always meeting manufacturing goals-both on-time and on-budget. Projects have included the design of entire futuristic concept vehicles, as well as individual parts, components, and subassemblies. Primary end-use clients have often been automotive industry OEMs and aerospace companies, including manufacturers of autonomous aerial vehicles. The majority of my recent work has been done through supplier studios. Additionally, my professional experience includes illustration and industrial art department team leadership for certain aerospace industry subcontractor clients. I also create modern redesigns and restomods of custom vintage and hot rod automobiles. On occasion this also involves creating a scale model, by sculpting industrial modeling clay, or carving foam. Such models may then be cast in fiberglass or acrylic resin, then painted using show-quality custom automotive urethane to present clients with various color and finish options. Other design and styling work has included executive aircraft interiors, various quadrotor UAV aircraft including cargo drones, handheld game controllers, numerous other consumer products, lamps, Class 8 truck tractors, farm tractors, toys, wheeled and lighted consumer products, furniture, and props and other asset art for entertainment media. This work includes the design of full-size wheeled transport vehicles, aircraft, and starships for online games.
