About Christopher Grumiau
In the product, pricing and analytics (PPA) department at Yuzzu, I am leading a team of experts in charge of product development, modelling and tactical pricing projects. This pool of experts (both internals and externals) make sure to develop motor (4W and 2W) and property insurance products which fit our customers needs. Using open-source technology and state-of-the art tools, we improve and monitor daily the accuracy of our models. It allows us to better predict risks and better serve our customers by providing strong coverages for a fair price. Prior to that, I have worked at NautilusPrinciple and Bee-Relevant for which I was providing consulting services in the area of data strategy, data execution, data product management and team upskilling via strategic workforce planning. I was as well Chapter lead of Data scientists in the Data Office department of Allianz Benelux during 4 years. I also have an experience as Manager in the actuarial services at KPMG Belgium (Advisory, FRM) after a PhD and some post-doctorates in numerical analysis at the University of Mons.
