As Real Capital Partners Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Chris Harris offers expertise in building institutional investor-quality real estate and operational platforms comprising over $2 billion in combined transaction volume. Mr. Harris is also Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Store Space Self Storage, a self-storage business with assets under management of more than $1 billion. He and fellow self-storage veteran Rob Consalvo, along with trusted investors and industry experts, founded Store Space in 2018 with the mission of creating the nation’s largest privately held self-storage operation. Since inception, Store Space has achieved exponential growth through a combination of acquisitions, ground-up construction, third-party management, and joint ventures, amassing more than 100 stores in 22 states in less than 5 years. Highlights for the top-20 Company include being named to Inside Self Storage’s “Square Footage Milestones” list in 2021 with a 180% increase year-over-year. Mr. Harris has accumulated more than 15 years of executive experience across multiple industries. Prior to Real Capital Partners, he was President of iStorage until its sale to NSA in 2016. He’s also served as Co-Founder of JLE Industries, an over-the-road flatbed trucking company formed in 2014, and supported the growth of that operation until its recapitalization in 2018. Prior to iStorage, he was a Senior Commercial Real Estate Lender with Mutual of Omaha Bank. Mr. Harris attended the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management.
