Christopher Hagerman is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hager Development Group (Hager), a Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) verified Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) currently providing a diverse range of specialized professional support services to the U.S. Government. As an agile, capable, and highly adept small business, they have competitively distinguished themselves as a “premium provider” on numerous contracts. Christopher also co-founded HagerV3, an SBA approved mentor-protégé joint venture between Hager and V3Gate. HagerV3 is a DVA-verified SDVOSB that delivers Security and Information Technology (IT) solutions to the U.S. federal government. They specialize in emerging technologies to help clients simplify their infrastructure, reduce costs, and create a more flexible IT environment. The joint venture brings together an exceptional team of professionals that have earned a reputation for quality, exceptional customer service and exceeding client expectations. Christopher is an accomplished executive with more than 16 years of experience in government acquisition, technology, and security services. A data-driven strategic leader, he is known for his ability to build, lead, and scale companies by connecting strategies to business outcomes. He is a passionate thought leader on customer challenges and how transforming ideas into intelligent solutions is a growth driver for business and a more connected world. Prior to Hager, Christopher served as Vice President for a DoD industry contractor as well as Deputy Director of Business Development for a military equipment manufacturer. He is a published author through Macmillan Publishers. Christopher retired honorably from the Navy. He graduated Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training in Coronado, California with Class 211 earning the Navy SEAL Trident thereafter. He served with SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team 2 and SEAL Team 2 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He served as a Navy SEAL Sniper and Special Operations Combat Medic, graduating from the U.S. Army Special Forces Combat Medical School. He earned a B.A. and completed an MBA Program with a concentration in Finance through American Military University. A proud Catholic American, born and raised in California, Christopher now lives in Virginia Beach with his wife and three children.
