Project Control Specialist with over 15 years of experience helping companies to save money, have accurate financial analyses, and complete projects on time and under budget. As a Project Control Specialist with EQT, I currently provide oversight of a $2B pipeline project. Previously, as a Project Control Specialist with Fieldcore, I managed 7-9 concurrent projects totaling $100-150M annually while leading and developing a team of 6-10 junior project control specialists. I audit invoices and cost reports for compliance, communicate with field teams to update schedules and change management, and steer project schedules. I’m known for building strong working relationships with project managers and asking lots of questions up front in order to set up my reporting in the most effective way. I thrive on data analysis and scheduling, and I particularly enjoy working on a project from scope development pre-planning to post-evaluation. The hallmarks of my projects are that they run on time and on or under budget with well organized billing and communication systems that any stakeholder can easily monitor. While I love mentoring and coaching young project control specialists to success, I outwork and outperform them all day long. I’m determined to succeed, dependable, and self-motivated, and I use that energy to help my teams to accomplish both team and organizational goals. Outside of work, I’m passionate about BBQ. I’ve mastered pulled pork, ribs, and beef brisket by creating my own process, following my favorite recipes, and carefully tending the meat over up to 20 hours of pit time. The complexity, skill, and attention to detail required to get a mouth-watering end result with perfect timing speaks to the skills I’ve perfected and my approach to my work.
