About Christopher Holmes

With over a decade of experience in Executive Assistant positions serving in increasingly responsible roles working with field grade military commanders, my entire federal civilian career has prepared me to navigate the needs of of C-Suite Executives. I have extensive background working independently to accomplish a wide variety of tasks and meeting deadlines while providing quality and accurate products. Over 10 years in fast paced, confidential environments requiring the management of competing priorities and executing independent judgment with delegated authority in federal government and military spheres of influence has me eager to put my skills to work for a private sector organization. I would leverage my broad understanding of administrative support functions, professional writing, customer service, calendar and travel management, information distribution, record management, financial acumen, budget management, and Microsoft Office tools to quickly establish my presence in support of the organization and its mission. I am excited to build a strong relationship with those whom I support, as well as peers both internal and external so as to anticipate their needs. I am a strong believer in sharing knowledge to arm my fellow staff with the necessary tools to accomplish shared goals. I consider myself an excellent writer/communicator with a knack for knowing my audience and composing in whatever tone is appropriate. I am no stranger to confidential matters, as is highlighted by holding an NALC secret security clearance for over 23 years. I am about to begin my senior year of a BS in Human Resources Management and am excited to be able to combine my ongoing education and experience to provide executive level support in an environment more suited to me than that in which the military operates.
