About Christopher Holmes

I am a systems engineer currently working out of Boeing Everett Washington location. I graduated from the University of Central Florida in May of 2015 with my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and also my Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering. I also obtained a minor in International Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Systems and Performance Improvement. During my undergraduate career I worked as a building manager for my student center where I managed a square feet facility. At this facility I lead groups of students from 3-5 people in performing event setups and maintenance for the entire building. Here I gained skills such as group management, team leading, and assigning tasks to the right people. I also worked for Toyota Engineering and Manufacturing North America as a Supplier Engineering Development co-op where I coordinated with many different suppliers ensuring they met Toyota company needs. I performed tasks such as machinery preventative maintenance, parts replacement, and optimization of manufacturing processes with groups of engineers from all across the company. After that experience I sharpened my project management skills with the Boeing company by working at their Chicago headquarters as an facilities intern. There I coordinated with different external contractors to complete different building and improvement projects.
