Martin County Fire Rescue : Firefighter/EMT AshBritt Inc: As the Technical Assistance Manager/Regional Manager, I was in charge of multiple tasks related to disaster recovery. I was the primary/lead contact to provide technical support and information on the FEMA Public Assistance Program and other FEMA programs to ensure our clients receive maximum federal reimbursement. These duties have expanded my knowledge of multiple sections of the Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) including but not limited to 44 C.F.R. and 2 C.F.R. I assisted multiple clients with updating Debris Management Plans (DMP), Comprehensive Emergency Management Plans (CEMP), and other emergency response plans submitted to FEMA and the states. I have been deployed as a Project Manager for multiple Public Assistance disaster recovery projects. I was responsible for managing multiple clients/contracts in the South Florida Region. During my tenure i managed proposals to Request For Proposals (RFP) published by various governmental jurisdictions for Disaster Recovery, Debris Removal, Emergency Food, Water, Ice, Shelter Facilities, Right-Of-Way (ROW) collection, and other facets of disaster response and recovery. Prior to joining AshBritt, during my time as a Debris Specialist at the state of Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM), I attained a detailed knowledge of the FEMA Public Assistance Program, including all facets of the Sandy Recovery Improvement Act and Public Assistance Program. I have processed Project Worksheets for the FEMA Fire Management Assistance Grant Program (FMAG), in addition to teaching G-202 Debris Management Course for FDEM.
