My aesthetic approach to facial plastic surgery is achieving natural appearing results that do not look surgical or ‘done.’ I focus on preserving your identity; making you look younger without looking like you are trying to look young. I bring extensive surgical experience: over procedures on the face and neck. That’s one reason why other physicians and plastic surgeons come to me for their own treatments or their family members’ surgeries. With my rigorous Ivy League experience at Cornell University (member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society), studies at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, fellowship teaching position at Stanford University and surgical practice, I bring a bi-coastal blend of expertise to my private practice on Philadelphia’s Main Line. Celebrities walking the red carpet, professional athletes or everyday working people – I treat them all the same except for their unique desires as a patient. The in-person consultation process is critical. It’s where you assess your comfort with me as your surgeon, and I can evaluate if you’re ready for treatment; not just physically but mentally and emotionally. The ideal patient comes here to help improve their appearance because it’s something they are doing for themselves, not for other people or pressures. I have a fascination with drawing and painting that started in my childhood. Throughout my medical training and career as a facial plastic surgeon, my artistic skills have allowed me to create intricate anatomic drawings, some of which are published in medical journals and textbooks. This level of creativity and attention to detail is very present in my surgical work, where I have a reputation for “a delicate touch with invisible stitches.” I’m very proud of my work but the greatest reward is when my surgical skills are undetectable by everyone but my patients.
