I graduated from Kennesaw State University in May of 2018 with a BBA in Accounting and May of 2019 with a BBA in Finance. I plan to obtain a job and complete the CPA exam. My greatest achievement so far has been in my internship with WaffleHouse where I optimized a system of creating invoices that took roughly a day for one accountant to complete down to about 5 minutes. I did this by creating a visual basic macro and commands in excel to extract data from an SQL server and then format the data into the charts for the invoices. I was able to do this by using any free time I had to tinker around with improving the process. I have also gained public accounting knowledge with Brooks McGinnis in the field of audit. The smaller firm size allowed me to experience many different audit schedules and see an audit completed start to finish.
