About Christopher Humphrey

I am multi-talented with experience in electronics, mechanics, and associated peripheral devices. I served in the United States Army for 5 years. I have proven ability working in high stress environments; In Iraq as a United States Army Soldier with the 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized) and as a civilian with Kellogg Brown and Root. As a soldier I was part of the Initial invasion into Iraq and was attached to the 1st Expeditionary Marine Division and helped take Baghdad, the Baghdad International Airport, and hold Fallujah. I am proud of my service in the United States Army and was Honorably Discharged in 2006 with 2 Combat tours. While working with KBR in Iraq I maintained the Largest On Grid/Off Grid power network in Baghdad. I managed a crew of five personnel and was responsible for power generation on Camp Victory, Camp Striker, Camp Liberty and Camp Slayer. Upon returning home from Iraq I was interviewed and hired at the Georgia Port Authorities. Hired as an entry level mechanical technician I rapidly worked my way to the top position at the Port Authority- a Ship to Shore Crane Operator. As a Ship to Shore Crane Operator I was faced with new challenges working with teams of 8 and more to safely load and discharge break Bulk cargo to include: Yachts, Tanks, HMV’s, CAT/JCB Heavy Machinery, and not to mention container operations. With attention to safety for personnel and self I excelled in the Maritime industry. I next moved out to Colorado and worked for an Oilfield company as their Senior Lift Coordinator adding to my crane operating experience. I am currently working as a Tower Crane Operator. I have the drive and ambition to make myself better, the company I work for better, and coworkers/colleagues better as well! Safety, Efficiency, and Customer Service-my Motto.
