About Christopher Ivey

As a Senior Principal Digital Design Engineer at Spectrum Control, I lead the design of digital hardware, firmware, and software solutions for RF subsystems and line replaceable units (LRUs). With over 10 years of experience in the field, I have developed a strong expertise in architecting and implementing both complex VPX/SOSA Aligned Cards as well as highly integrated FPGA designs embedded in RF modules. I also am responsible for developing demo applications for customer and trade show product demos, as well as developing evaluation kits for new products. The products I have helped to architect have been recognized with multiple awards for innovation, including the Silver Honoree and Platinum Honoree of the Military & Aerospace Electronics Innovators Award.In addition to my technical skills, I am also a certified mentor, having completed the "Being a Good Mentor" course on LinkedIn. I currently manage a team of 5 direct reports with additional open positions and am responsible for mentoring and recruiting employees. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with others and helping them grow in their careers. I am always eager to learn new technologies and techniques, and to apply them to real-world problems.
