About Christopher Jenkins

I am a graduate of Temple University, with a degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media. Currently I work as Segment Producer for NFL Network in Culver City, CA. I have talent produced HOF Michael Irvin, HOF Marshall Faulk, HOF Terrell Davis, HOF Deion Sanders, Willie McGinest, Maurice Jones-Drew and others. I have also produced music videos, vignettes and teases for NFL Network's highest rated show; Gameday Morning. Previously I worked at WPVI-TV/ 6ABC, in Philadelphia. I shot high school football, edited promos, wrote packages and field produced for some of the city’s largest events. I line produced three shows working directly with talent and the director on the overall look and content. Additionally, I have experience in news as the Field Producer for the live weather hits from the Philadelphia Zoo. I also have a year under my belt as a PA, working on the Assignment Desk for NBC 10 in Philadelphia. In college I worked with Temple University's own, OwlSports Update, where I learned how to find newsworthy stories, obtain video footage and compose complete packages. My studio experience allowed me to work as a Director, Technical Director, Anchor and Producer. I shot game footage at Temple Men's and Women's Home Basketball games and edited highlights for broadcast. I also worked as a Video Coordinator for the Temple Football team and was responsible for shooting game and practice footage, logging tapes and editing player highlight packages. As a graduate, I went back to school (figuratively) to work as a member of the video staff for Temple’s Home basketball games managing in-house graphics, working as a camera operator and running instant replay. With over 10 years of tangible experience working in television I can’t think of too many kinds of production that I haven’t encountered. I love sports production, but have a diverse enough background to fit whatever mold is necessary as I continue to pursue my career aspirations.
