I am an award-winning Aviation Supervisor and Mechanic with twenty years' experience providing technical expertise and oversight, quality assurance, and human capital management. I will be transitioning from the Marine Corps after 20 years of honorable and faithful service in November 2020. A few of my career highlights: • Aviation Life Support Systems (ALSS) Division Chief: Collaborative leader and subject matter expert. Mentored and coached personnel to increase their career potential while increasing their accuracy and productivity. Seven became Collateral Duty Inspectors, and four assumed duties as Collateral Duty Inspector Quality Assurance Representatives. This allowed for dual shift maintenance. Identifies and communicates objectives, performs analyses on resource needs, organizes, and directs operation efforts to achieve desired results. • Quality Assurance Safety Officer (QASO): Squadron Chairman and Co-Chairman of the Board that convenes as appropriate when a Marine was ready for advancement to the next level of responsibility in the Ordnance Certification/Qualification program. The Levels for advancement the board appoints are Team Member, Team Leader, and QASO. • Aerial Observer/Gunner: Recipient of Air Medal –w/Bronze Numeral 4.
