About Christopher Johns

As a Rehabilitation Manager at Lehigh Valley Health Network, I oversee the LVHN Neurologic Physical Therapy Program, and coordinate orthopaedic and sports residency programs and an orthopaedic manual physical therapy fellowship program with academic partners. I also supervise the PTA advanced proficiency pathway for wound care. I oversee both the Continuing Education Board for internal and external CEU opportunities for PT, OT, and SLP and our Advisory Board for Rehabilitation Innovation and Research for quality improvement projects and research. Additionally, I serve as a Guest Lecturer at DeSales University, teaching the McKenzie method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. With over 15 years of experience in physical therapy, I have developed a clinical focus on orthopaedic spine physical rehabilitation with an emphasis on the McKenzie method and manual therapy. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy by the McKenzie Institute USA, and a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. I am passionate about advancing the field of rehabilitation through education, quality improvement projects, and research development, and I perform data analytics to support these efforts.
