About Christopher Kloenne

I am a R&D and product design engineer with a wide variety of experience in the design and programming of electronic systems, ranging from complex mission critical systems, to inexpensive high volume commercial products. I have worked for both large companies with thousands of employees and small companies with fewer than 50. I have extensive experience in the design of hardware and software for digital signal processing and real time applications, from high level system architecture to the detailed circuit implementation. I have designed processor boards based on high level 32 bit microprocessors such as the Power PC, ARM 7 and ARM Cortex family, DSP processors from Texas Instruments and Freescale, all the way down to 8 pin Microchip PIC processors. I have extensive experience with design and simulation for Field Programmable Gate Arrays using both VHDL and Verilog. In particular current Xilinx Spartan series devices and Altera Cyclone series, plus various Altera and Xilinx PLDs. Programming for embedded applications, using C and C++, for processors ranging from the Power PC to the Micro-Chip PIC family of processors. Programming experience for both general purpose processors and DSP oriented processors. Programming for real time multitasking systems using RTOS, specifically uCos and Freescale MQX. Includes implementation of DSP algorithms and real time control of hardware. Experience with Code-Composer, Keil Microvision, and Code Warrior software development tools. Design of analog circuits for use in amplification, filtering, DC-DC conversion, signal conditioning and A/D conversion as well as other applications. Brush DC and Stepper Motor control circuit design.
