About Christopher Krebill

I am a former Supply Chain Management student who graduated on May 6th, 2017. I have always been fascinated by the puzzle of getting things from one point to another. My interest in railways has fueled this passion because of the complexities and volumes of goods that railways move. Growing up on the farm also gave me a unique perspective on the origins and consumption of goods. My life on the family farm has taught me to work hard and do the best I can throughout my life. In my work, I strive to show quality results and attention to details. As a graduate of Iowa State University, I believe that I gained a lot of work experience during those four years. As well as being a student employee at a dining center on campus, I was part of a study abroad class in the Spring of 2016. This class worked with Caterpillar to analyze the supply chain of their large mining trucks and traveled to Chile to see how the company operated internationally. This gave me the opportunity to travel outside of the United States for the first time, and hopefully not the last. Some of my other work experience has been my work at Pinnacle Foods in Fort Madison, Iowa. Through the company’s summer work program, I spent the summers of 2013, 2014, and 2015 working in the factory and gaining experience about the processed foods industry. In the Summer of 2015, I was able to work as the factory’s Shipping Intern in the warehouse office. I was responsible for maintaining data on the factory’s rail shipments and helped double check inventory levels in our two inventory management programs, Savanna and BPCS. During the summers of 2014 and 2013, I was a line worker helping to facilitate the flow of products and monitoring product quality, respectively.
