About Christopher Leeds

Born and raised in Durham, NC, I discovered my passion for athletic training through a sports medicine class in high school. I knew I wanted to pursue it as a career so I enrolled in the athletic training and education program at UNC Chapel Hill. As a student, I had the privilege if working with multiple varsity sports including the men's soccer team on their run to a national championship. I also worked with club sports and had two off-campus rotations at Athens Drive High School in Raleigh. After graduating in 2012, I accepted an athletic training position with Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina to gain confidence, and to begin practicing as a Certified Athletic Trainer! I worked at Athens Drive High School and Middle Creek High School for a year before moving to Atlanta become a graduate assistant at The Lovett School. I graduated with my master's degree from Georgia State University in May 2015 and concluded my two year assistantship. During the spring of 2015, I was an athletic training intern for the Atlanta Falcons. In July 2015 I began my position as the Head Athletic Trainer and sports medicine teacher for Blessed Trinity Catholic High School.
