Cybersecurity is my passion, and I bring over 4 years of experience to the table as an Information Systems Security Manager at the United States Marine Corps, I've honed my skills in managing security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management for DoD systems. My role involves ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of both classified and unclassified data while mitigating threats and enforcing cybersecurity standards. I excel at translating complex technical findings into executive-level reports that highlight business impacts, enabling informed decision-making. Leading incident response efforts has been a key focus; I've successfully detected, analyzed, and mitigated over 50 cybersecurity incidents, minimizing their impact and strengthening my organization’s overall security posture. My technical expertise includes administering Microsoft and Linux systems with a focus on Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, PKI, and network infrastructure management. I have designed LAN/WAN solutions supporting over users with 99.9% uptime. Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity from Western Governors University (WGU), I'm eager to leverage my skills in new challenges.
