About Christopher Lund

I am a motivated and internationally-minded shipping professional with a background in business management and commercial chemical tanker operations. After earning my Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Assumption University, where I was a member of the Men's Soccer Team and served as Team Captain, I launched my career in the maritime industry by joining MOL Chemical Tankers as a Shipping Trainee. As part of the program, I attended the Danish Shipping Academy, gaining a strong foundation in commercial shipping, chartering, and maritime law. Today, I work as a Chartering Assistant at MOL Chemical Tankers, supporting the commercial team across two major trade lanes (Trans-Atlantic Westbound and Europe/Asia) and assisting in voyage planning, fixture negotiations, and post-fixture operations. To further expand my commercial understanding and international exposure, I spent one month working in our Houston office, developing stronger relationships with colleagues, brokers, and clients in the Americas. Having lived in Hong Kong, Switzerland, Singapore, and the United States, I bring a truly global perspective to the business, along with a strong ability to adapt to different cultural and commercial environments. I am eager to leverage my problem-solving and interpersonal skills to make a meaningful contribution to the maritime industry while continuously expanding my knowledge and expertise. I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
