I’m an experienced and knowledgeable Health, Safety and Environmental professional with over eight years managerial experience in the public sector. I have a wide variety of experience ranging from SME’s to large multi cultural organization’s (1600+ employees). I have experience of managing budgets and ensuring value for money for procuring health and safety equipment and training. My background encompasses both enforcement and occupational health and safety and I specialize in serious accident investigation, accident litigation and loss minimization. As well as many years practically learned experience, in the last few years I have written and presented various training programmes for SHE, covering topics such as occupational health and safety, loss prevention, risk awareness, induction training, manual handling and accident investigation. I have been involved in conducting Environmental Management reviews against ISO14001:2004 standards and producing reports and recommendations to ensure continual improvement. I am a member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Health. I hold the NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management. I am currently completing a Masters degree in Environmental, Health and Safety Management at Sligo Atlantic Technical University.
