About Christopher MacKey

My name is Christopher Mackey, I am a creative professional, with the vast majority of my career being in print and advertising. My professional career has given me knowledge and experience in several different industries, including magazines, multiple casino's corporate graphic departments, a print shop, a catalog, a major newspaper, and an apparel company. I am fluent with both Macs and PCs and well-versed in many graphical programs, such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. With over 15 years of professional experience in the Graphic Design field, and working in a variety of industries, I developed a diverse foundation of knowledge and experience to pull from. Some of my experience includes being the Creative Director for Mike Ferry’s SELLING Magazine, where I developed and implemented new ideas and styles, designed everything myself at first, then once our team was in place, delegated layout and advertising designs to the team, coordinated with the printer, the Marketing Director, the CEO and also the owner. Prior to that, I was the Corporate Design Manager at Tropicana Entertainment, where I developed and executed designs for advertising, signage, and tiered mailers for multiple properties and also coordinated with multiple General Managers, Art/Creative Directors, and graphic designers at the remaining properties. I was also the Production Manager for Card Player Magazine, where I oversaw the production of the magazine, completed press checks, coordinated with the printer, handled all of our advertiser's files, as well as the creation of all internal advertising.
