With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a diverse background spanning education, counseling, foster care licensing, and mental health services, I bring a holistic, student-centered approach to every role I undertake. As a Social Studies teacher, I design rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that fosters historical inquiry, literacy skills, and civic understanding. I apply Learning Focused strategies to create structured, discussion-rich classrooms that promote real-world connections and critical thinking. My adaptability has allowed me to serve where needed, stepping into out-of-field placements while maintaining high academic standards and a commitment to student success. Beyond the classroom, I have experience supporting children and families through foster care licensing and mental health services.
