About Christopher Mathey

With deep expertise and knowledge of the renewable energy industry, I am a business development and consulting leader with a history of driving innovation and transformation. I have spent my career serving clients in an industry in which the only constant is change. Challenges facing the industry have changed, too-from supply and pricing to new regulations and reductions in emissions. All of these impact the technology solutions and delivery models used by the industry. My background in the energy sector includes time spent working with both government and private-sector clients. I’m presently Senior Director with the Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance (REBA). In this high-visibility role, I lead the organization’s strategic direction and manage a team of 6 direct reports. One of the achievements of which I am most proud is my work in helping to create the REBA Institute, a 501 (c)(3) organization with a mission to drive awareness around the benefits of resilient, zero carbon economy. I am also proud to help stand up our Buyers Policy Team to influence clean energy policy across the country. In earlier roles, I led public affairs campaigns and worked with Federal stakeholders to develop and influence policy-level decisions. My comprehensive knowledge of the renewable energy sector makes me uniquely poised to help a dynamic organization achieve its next level of success.
