About Christopher Millican

People-helper by nature and wellness enthusiast by necessity, I value the care opportunities I have been presented in my adult life and in the past 30 years of pharmacy. My investments in patient and customer engagement and persisting through the storms of change in all things retail pharmacy have provided reward and adventure. I have been immunizing for 17 years and providing MTM for almost as long. I became disease-state certified in diabetes in and have paired this with a personal interest in weight loss and wellness. I have served as both staff pharmacist and pharmacy manager. As a manager, I worked through store recovery after a tornado, store acquisitions, store mergers, store conversions, and store closures, in addition to basic operation management that includes but not limited to technician scheduling, basic inventory management, performance evaluations, etc. As a staff pharmacist, I immunize, provide MTM services, and provide diabetes counseling. I have some experience and training with health-testing including COVID-19 and may provide A/B flu testing this flu season. In the past three years, I have revisited basic pharmacy operations with an emphasis on workflow efficiency as we have learned to integrate diagnostic testing and a greater volume of immunizations into workflow. I enjoy providing a positive patient and customer experience and have been recognized as a favorite pharmacist. Pharmacy provides me opportunity to see the needs of others and meet some of those needs. I have chosen to take both my failures and successes, consider them both imposters, and receive the dividends as experience to invest in better days for others and myself.
