About Christopher Mills

Christopher Mills is a seasoned executive in the electric T&D and energy industry. He began his career as a journeyman lineman and has continued on a two-decade-long journey in electrical contracting and power delivery in Southern California. He recently served as the Executive Vice President of Operations at MasTec Power Delivery Group and is now the Regional Vice President of Union Operations at Primoris Services Corporation. Primoris Services Corporation is an industry-leading specialty contractor that provides critical infrastructure services to its clients. As the Regional Vice President of Union Operations, Chris is responsible for the Primoris Union Power Delivery subsidiaries nationwide. These companies perform all facets of construction and engineering for scale EPC projects to various MSA and programmatic work for IOU and developer clients. As the Executive VPO of MasTec Power Delivery Group, Chris was responsible for the oversight of the profit & loss of four service lines providing utility construction services - primarily power. He also managed senior leadership and executive teams, reviewed proposals, and construction contract requests, and facilitated the nationwide scaling of MasTec enterprises. Prior to his role at MasTec, Chris worked as a Division Manager/Director of Operations with PAR Electrical Contractors, a Quanta Services company. Throughout several years of dedicated work and increasing levels of responsibility, Chris was able to hone his craft and become an asset in the industry. These experiences have informed Chris' visible, felt leadership philosophy and his goal to prioritize safety and training alongside revenue optimization and cost reduction. He leans on this experience and expertise in his work as a certified power delivery & energy consultant with Mills Power Consulting LLC. Chris served in the United States Navy before breaking into the electrical construction industry as a journeyman lineman. In his free time, he participates in triathlons, including Ironman, enjoys mountain biking, and rides and cares for horses. He is currently located in the Greater South Orange County area.
