About Christopher Molin

Hi, I'm Chris!^^ I'm a Software Engineer, with 3 intense years under my belt, where I have been mostly working on Back-end systems. I have a very broad background in Computer Science - ranging between high-level to very low-level programming, interaction design, databases, statistics, computer networks and much more. In short, I've always been curious about how all these pieces fit together to make the technologies we have today. In regards to personal interests, I will forever love statistics, data visualizations and interaction design. But I've also gained interest in Clean Code and Ways-of-Working. Come to think of it, these are important things for future improvement - which brings me to my next point: I am constantly questioning my own perspective, understanding and approach. I thrive on feedback and I really enjoy discussions with people that have a completely different point-of-view. I occasionally do some programming in my spare time; contributing to Open-Source projects, working on private projects, solving puzzles on CodinGame, answering questions on StackOverflow and I've been experimenting with machine learning in Jupyter notebooks. This is becoming lengthy now, but I pride myself of being transparent and I will always prefer nuance over bullet-points. Deeper conversations over talking points.
