About Christopher Molnar

Intermediate Software Developer at JSI Telecom and Software Engineering graduate from Carleton University. Skilled in Java, Python, and C#. Through my studies, work, side projects and extracurricular activities I have developed strong programming skills, time management, teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills. I have done five co-op work terms; one at JSI Telecom, one at You.i TV, two at VirtaMove and one in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at Carleton University. Over my co-op work terms, I have been able to build on and use the skills I have learned in the classroom. Through co-op I have: learned to mentor co-ops and coworkers, experienced the full software development cycle, helped manage a project, gained experience with blockchains, improved my programming skills, and learned new programming languages. In my free time I enjoy learning, coding, volunteering, acting, singing, playing piano, playing sports (mainly hockey and soccer), playing and making video games and spending time with friends and family. I am currently playing goalie on the CENG hockey team at Carleton University. For volunteer work I enjoy participating as an EngFrosh facilitator yearly to help introduce and engage the incoming students into Carleton Engineering community.
