About Christopher Moran

As a veteran of this great nation’s Air Force, I am seeking a career that requires great professionalism and teamwork. I learned many things during my years of service, but what stood out the most was my desire to lead and set an example in order to be a great mentor to those around me. I am a fierce and loyal proffessional who takes great pride in my work. I am a self starter and can perform excellent work with high level of detail and a great talent with multi-tasking. I want to help a company lead people like myself and like those who taught and mentored me throughout my career in the Air Force and the United Parcel Service to make a bigger impact and achieve real progess. My experience in leadership is well rounded from mentoring young airmen in the Air Force, to leading a team of 69 drivers and support staff at The United Parcel Service in Birmingham and Colorado Springs for the past 7 years. I have worked with a very diverse company and have supervised in multiple locations across the country. With my experience managing a large department of many different cultures and a diverse staff, I know what a solid and efficient team looks like and how to build strong members by identifying peoples skill sets and how to apply them in a positive way. I have helped to improve operations and resolve many issues within the department achieving some of the highest performance numbers in the region on a consistent and frequent basis. Making spur of the moment and in route planning descisions and corrections is something I handle in stride, and can make hasty corrections on the spot to last minute and unforeseen issues daily. I can see the bigger picture and can identify the best course of action for many logistical concerns. I am technologically savvy and proficiency with Microsoft Office products. I know I can build and reenforce strong teams by promoting peoples attributes and strengths. I am a great mentor and can guide new hires and seasoned employees alike to be the best they can be. I want to be a part of a team that works in sync and helps each other to develop and grow. I already have great experience in doing that responsibility and am looking to relocate to Olympia or Huntsville to be near family.
