About Christopher Morris

I have worked in Residential and Commercial AV/IT environments since 1996. From the ground up I have learned about installation and setup of many types of low voltage systems and how to integrate them into automation systems to provide ease of operations and friendly user experience. I have since programmed a range of controls from the legacy Phillips Pronto and Niles Intellicontrol hand held remotes all the way through to Control4 and Savant automation systems. Currently, I am working on improving my programming skills with Extron, Crestron and AMX. Since the early I have been a member of such foundations as CEDIA and AVIXA(Infocomm) and have held many CEDIA/AVIXA certifications, as well as, CA State Voice/Data/Video Technician. My most prized certification is AVIXA's CTS-I although that is just one example of many different achievements. My current focus is on preparing for the AVIXA CTS-D and Crestron Certified Programmer certifications and hope to hold these two by the end of 2025. My goal is to continue to learn about, and provide instruction on, the fast changing technologies that drive our industry.
