About Christopher Nevins

I recently earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, where my professors and peers often complimented the excellence and swift completion of my work. This aptitude was earned over the last eleven years in formal engineering courses and a host of accompanying extracurriculars, where I was often required to take a project from problem statement to finished working product. Along the way, I discovered passions for machining, designing, and drafting that drove me to hone my skills in those areas. There is something incredibly satisfying about bringing to life a project I helped to design that I have yet to find anywhere else. I have participated in a variety of team-based projects and competitions over the years, and learned to work well with others: how to communicate effectively, respect others, and constructively discuss and critique ideas. I often found myself in positions of leadership on many of those teams, and after seven years in leadership positions, I’ve learned how to train, encourage, and delegate tasks.
