About Christopher Oreilly

Currently I serve in management for Tinker Federal Credit Union. I couldn't be happier working for such a wonderful, community minded organization. Prior, I had the privilege of spending nine and a half years learning from and developing my leadership with one of the most operationally efficient and client centric financial institutions in the world. I have been charged with staff management, ensuring audit-ready operational and regulatory compliant environment, underwriting, cash management and auditing, growing deposit, investment, and loan balances, coordinating sales and service functions across multiple lines of business, and ensuring an exceptional client and employee experience. I have served on a small team who preforms pre-audit assessments on local branches by developing evolving rubrics, inspecting processes and compliance requirements, performs overall risk analysis, and submits findings reports with action plans to upper management. Since youth I have consistently found myself in roles of organizational leadership. As a leader, I have learned that it is crucial to build a working environment where my team feels valued, appreciated, and as though they have the resources that they need to succeed. I build this environment through setting clear expectations, providing ongoing coaching and development, taking personal interest in those I work with, and demonstrating a lead-by-example approach. Through my experience in the financial services industry, I have been able to refine my leadership style and approach not only in a management capacity, but also while serving as chairperson of the Volunteer Leadership Group 2015-2018, serving on our local diversity council, and as 1 of 64 individuals nationwide for a developmental pilot program designed to provide enhanced management, operational, and coaching/development training. These experiences in leadership development were greatly enhanced by the quantitative and qualitative education I received from the University of Central Oklahoma’s MBA program from which I proudly graduated with a 4.0 grade point average.
