I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Counterterrorism and Homeland Security online, furthering my passion for counterterrorism, intelligence analysis, and security. I graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY) with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, accompanied by minors in Homeland Security and Political Science. Currently, I work as a Security Officer at NYU Langone Health in NYC, where my commitment to safety and security is reflected in my recognition for handling a critical incident involving a firearm. This recognition, where I ensured the safety of individuals in a waiting area, highlights my dedication to protecting both people and the community. In my previous role at FedEx Express, I worked as a Dangerous Goods Agent, where I held three different positions, including Casual Handler and Package Handler. One of my strongest skills is the ability to work under pressure. For instance, I once resolved a potential issue by quickly collaborating with my team and a manager when a system error threatened to delay packages at the airport. Throughout my career, I’ve strived to overcome challenges—moving from Special Education to General Education to prove my capability, and continuing my education online during the COVID-19 pandemic to earn my degree. These achievements reflect my drive to succeed in any situation. As I move forward, I am eager to pursue a career in a field that aligns with my studies, while staying open to where life takes me.
