About Christopher Owen

I am a C-level security, Open Source, and iGaming veteran, and technology and analytical thinking is my passion. I take pride in the design and implementation of elegant, simple solutions. Solving for scale is the most interesting problem. I believe that consistency in and repeatability of approach are the cornerstone to a successful technology programme. Professional problems must be addressed with a combination of technology, culture, and process. Interpersonal issues will only ever be resolved by listening. Encouraging mutual respect is key to defining a productive work environment. Endorsing a playful atmosphere will allow teams to gel. Sharing in the excitement of a task well-completed inspires teams to exceed expectations. I choose to lead by example and love to get my hands dirty; “be the change you want to see in the world” I am gifted with Linux/Unix server environments, computer security, computer networks, change management, problem solving, critical thinking, learning, and developer debugging support. I am also familiar with Microsoft, virtualization, and database technologies. I have pride in my soft skills including communication, team development, and team leadership. I work well under pressure, in a crisis, with deadlines, and equally well with either strict or vaguely defined requirements.
