I manage a team of 6 people and I am responsible for their technical training and career development. • I worked as an outside sales rep, more specifically as a Technical Sales Specialist to help account managers with control and isolation valve inquires. My role as a specialist was to help customers find solutions to their process control issues and to promote news products. • I began working at Laurentide Controls as a junior application engineer in January 2013. I am currently the Team Leader of the Valve Automation Division. I work on the projects team where we put together valve automation solutions for small and large scale projects. • I started my career working at Future Electronics as a Junior Mechanical Engineer designing and manufacturing an aluminium prototype using a multi-axis CNC lathe. My responsibilities at Future included tool and accessory purchasing for a Mori Seiki NZ-1500 double turret CNC lathe. I used the CAM software Esprit, to load Solidworks models and establish efficient tool paths and cutting processes to make various components. I learned about the proto-typing stages of manufacturing and how improving cycle time is crucial to the success of a product.
