About Christopher Parry

I have a wide range of knowledge and experience within the field of healthcare, my foundation was in operating department practice in which I started in 2006. From then I have been very proactive in furthering myself as a practitioner and ensuring high standards of care for patients in both an NHS and private hospital setting. Due to my passion for teaching and developing others throughout my career I have recently transitioned into the role of clinical educator in the field of simulation. Within this role I have been instrumental in the facilitation and teaching of a wide range of staff groups including undergraduate medical students, post graduate doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. The development of these staff is achieved by using hi-fidelity simulators, video analysis and debriefing in which I deliver on a daily basis. I have actively pushed to improve the quality and benefit of simulation education delivered to candidates from all across the north west of England by key tasks such as scenario writing, material creation and course development. When I am not delivering simulation I work alongside the other health education teams to deliver other aspects of training such as clinical skills and resuscitation.
