I majored in Computer Science Engineering at the Ohio State University, where I coauthored the paper “Support for Functional Programming in Brew”, which proposed extending the Java programming language with support for functional programming via closures, multimethod dispatch, and function types. During my time in college, I also worked as a Software Engineer developing solutions using Java, Perl, and JavaScript. During the 2010s, I worked for MGM Resorts International as a Director in hotel operations, where I gained experience managing teams, financial analysis, budgeting, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
