Workshop Manager of a busy London bus garage, I am committed to building a high-performing team of engineers and driving successful outcomes on vehicle repairs, scheduled maintenance and providing vehicles to meet the demanding service requirements. Throughout my career, I have gained experience in mechanical and electrical repairs along with extensive coachwork repairs. Team building and managing a time critical engineering environment and making sure the document keeping is at its best inline with our ISO9001 accreditation, along with making sure Health and safety is on point. I am passionate about creating a culture of continuous improvement, where my engineering team are encouraged to deliver top quality repairs, learn and understand from failures, and share their insights with others. I believe that transparency and open communication are key to building trust and gaining a sense of trust among team members. At the same time, I recognize that effective management also requires a deep understanding of the business needs and a focus on delivering results, in our case meeting and bettering set Kpi's, first time mechanical repairs and keeping vehicle maintenance at its best. I am committed to working closely with my higher and local management team to ensure that the garage vision is kept on track and turn that vision into success. Overall, as a workshop manager, my goal is to create an safe effective environment where my engineering team can thrive, while also delivering high-quality repairs to Mechanical, electrical and coachwork issues in line with planned maintenance schedules and a busy time critical running shift.
