Christopher Pizzi is the Chief Executive of the Southern Oregon Service Area which includes Providence Medford Medical Center, a mission centered, values driven 168 bed acute care community hospital with a large primary and specialty medical staff, home health, hospice and health plan serving Southern Oregon. Christopher is responsible for all integrated hospital and medical group operations, strategic planning, operating and capital budgeting functions. He collaborates closely with employed medical staff, independent providers and healthcare partners to deliver high quality, affordable care for the community. He is a high performing executive and community leader recognized for an entrepreneurial mindset, orchestrating operational improvements with a leadership philosophy and proven tactics to improve financial performance, deliver exceptional quality and achieve high levels of caregiver engagement that translates to outcomes that have positioned the organization to succeed in population based care delivery models. Described as a dependable and persistent driver of growth oriented initiatives with skill for building relationships and deepening all levels of team engagement. Christopher serves on the Providence Southern Oregon Advisory and Foundation Boards. He is board chair of Oregon Advanced Imaging and board member of Medford/Jackson County Chamber and Jefferson Regional Health Alliance.
