Experienced Clinical Virologist in Pharma/Biotech R&D with a track record of driving innovative research across both bench and translational projects. My career spans a diverse range of virology-focused roles in leading research and development environments, where I have contributed to pre-clinical development, regulatory filings, and clinical trials. Specializing in viral research, I am particularly skilled in genome editing and molecular virology techniques, with a proven record of high-impact publications and a history of uncovering novel biological insights. Key expertise includes genome editing (CRISPR/Cas9), whole-genome CRISPR screening, reverse genetics for large DNA viruses, and advanced molecular virology techniques such as recombineering. I also bring extensive experience in clinical trial support and regulatory documentation for NDA/BLA filings, contributing directly to product development for HBV, HDV, and herpesvirus-related therapies. Passionate about mentoring and collaboration, I have guided over a dozen mentees and established productive relationships with CROs and other scientific partners to advance shared goals.
