About Christopher Rost

I am passionate about turning graph theory and advanced data science into practical solutions that drive real-world business value. With a strong background as a postdoctoral researcher specializing in graph data structures, temporal graphs, and graph streams, I now apply my expertise to help enterprises harness the full potential of connected data. Before joining Neo4j, I taught NoSQL Databases and Data Mining at Leipzig University, shaping the next generation of data scientists, and conducted pioneering research on the distributed analysis of temporal property graphs. This work built a robust foundation at the intersection of data science, computer science, and network theory. Today, as part of Neo4j’s EMEA Professional Services team, I enable organizations to successfully implement graph database solutions that unlock hidden relationships in data, power knowledge graphs, and drive connected intelligence. My role allows me to combine 7+ years of academic research with hands-on customer success, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
