35 years of progressive health care and not-for-profit leadership, financial, operational, and regulatory experience as both a Financial Executive in multi-hospital health systems and as a public practice CPA in two different Top 10 firms in a healthcare focused consulting and auditing role. Capabilities include facility and organizational leadership, building & motivating high performance teams, strategic planning, financial operations & accuracy in financial reporting, cost/benefit and process improvement, staff education and development. Have held the position of Partner with BKD, LLP, and VP of Finance with Jewish Hospital & St Mary’s Healthcare and with its merged entity KentuckyOne Health. Currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for New Directions Housing Corporation. A not-for-profit organization who provides HUD Subsidized affordable housing to the most vulnerable populations in Louisville and wrap around services to same residents. Also offered are the Repair Affair and Aging in Place programs to help residents maintain and remain in their house’s. We also operate the St. Benedict’s Center for Early Childhood Education. Current member of Family Health Center’s Board of Governor’s. Past Board Chair of the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky, and a current member of its Finance Committee and Governance Committee. A past member Passport Health Plans Finance Committee member & Investment Committee Chair, a past board member of the Health Enterprise Network, Kentucky Hospital Association’s Medicaid Technical Advisory Committee and Past-President of the Kentucky Chapter of hfma.
