As part of my PhD project, we perform DNA sequencing on samples collected from patients with relapsed-refractory Lymphoma, and I use these samples to identify recurrent events which could contribute to treatment resistance and those which could act as candidate biomarkers of treatment failure. I have also utilized vaginal samples collected from women with Endometrial cancer to develop a non-invasive screening method and analysis pipeline for reliably detecting tumour mutations within these samples, without the need for more invasive screening approaches.
