CULTURE:* Living Our Values Everyday (L.O.V.E) Champion * Employee Resource Group (ERG) Lead (Elevating Women)* Corporate Event Engagement (ran annual bookstore fundraiser)* Plan and Facilitate Team’s Professional Growth Sessions A natural Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Leader: The below represent events I created, planned and facilitated.* Led an ERG, Manning-Up, book engagement & conversation on Laura Liswood’s The Loudest Duck.* Led an ERG, Manning-Up, book engagement & conversations on Dr. Debra Henson’s & Dr. Nadine Wheat’s She Crabs in a Barrel.* Led an ERG, Manning-Up, discussions with the authors Dr. Henson and Dr. Wheat: engaged the authors, had them agree to two separate sessions with our employees, zero cost to Blue Shield, negotiated the engagement on a voluntary basis with authors.* Led an ERG, Equity Allies (formally Manning-up), to host 3-virtual Self-Care Fairs with professional panels that included a variety of mental health professionals to help our employees with the trauma of Covid, full-time work from home, and the increased stress and personal struggles accompanying the new normal. This was one of the single largest attended events an ERG held with more than attendees.
