About Christopher Sherfield

I plan on bringing my dream to life by becoming a United States Marine. I'm a graduating senior at Cedartown High School and joining the USMC has always been goal. My desire to join the USMC stems from my respect for my country and those who I care about most. My father is my biggest influence and one of the reasons I decided to join the military. He joined the United States Army when I was in 3rd grade. He had chosen a different path which led to an inimical lifestyle. Joining the military helped him recover his inner motivation and became a superior father by showing dedication and hard work. I want to represent the colors of my country everyday. I want to wear my uniform with gratitude and pride. After joining the USMC I plan on completing the training to become a MARSOC Marine. MARSOC stands for United States Marine Corps Special Operations Command: the most elite warriors of the Marine Corps? They operate on all terrains as one of the hardest jobs the Marine Corps has to offer. I will be a part of this elite team. I'm in my 3rd year of Spanish at Cedartown High School. This will be my last year here at CHS.
